Battling it out with Sean Hannity on Fox News

Unlike the other shows, the Hannity show is divided into segments of 7 minutes, and in each segment two guests participate, the guests get roughly 1:45 Minutes each.  Since September 11 this year, I have been on his TV show thrice with Brigitte Gabriel, Zuhdi Jasser and  George Birnbaum, former Chief of Staff to Bibi Netanyahu,  and twice on his radio show.  This has given me about 45 appearances on the show in two and half years.

A "few" Muslims simply don't get it, without engaging with others, you cannot solve the problems. It was Reagan who started the bullshit that we do not deal with terrorist, we do not sit and talk with our enemies carried out by most Republicans... come to find out the same bullshit is followed by a "few" Muslims. "If you don't talk with your enemies to make peace, then who do you talk with? Says Mother Teresa. I hammer that point on Hannity frequently, he may not get it, but the public does with the amount of email feed backs I get after the show...at one time it hit 321,000.

Every one gets beat up on the show, but I go with a singular objective - to get three points across and sometimes I just get one. Last night 9/21 - I maintained Obama's video in Pakistan was not an apology, but the duty of the president to protect the lives of Americans.  A partial list of my shows is  on Hannity, http://www.hannity.com/guest/ghouse-mike/10804

TEXAS FAITH - Religion and the right to free speech

Freedom of Speech is understood in two different ways; one group believes that irresponsible statements must be controlled and censored by the government, whereas the other group believes that I mind my own business, let others do theirs. For Americans, it’s an alien idea to imagine the Government controlling one's freedom to express.

MUSLIMS DON’T GET IT

The Legitimacy of Muslim protests about the film ‘Innocence of Muslims’ and the freedom of speech are major issues facing the world today. I am pleased to offer a summary of issues and pluralistic solutions.
If you feel hatred towards them, you are clearly justifying their hatred towards you. We all have to rise above it and mitigate conflicts and nurture goodwill. That was the message of Jesus, Muhammad (pbuh) and every spiritual master. We cannot have peace, unless we contribute to it, we cannot have peace, if we aggravate it.

Obama Clinton is not an apology but protection of citizens

Brother Sean Hannity - Obama/Clinton video in Pakistan is not an apology, it is the responsibility of state to protect her citizens.

However, we must value the responsibility of the state to protect her citizens, and if this is what it takes to save the lives of Americans elsewhere, it may be considered as a short measure. In long run, however, we must not compromise on free speech that is a God given right and hallmark of civilizations.

Republicans, Democrats and Americans

As the election is approaching, we need more people to articulate the need for focusing on America. Ultimately what is good for you or your party has got to be good for the average American.

As a professional speaker, I have developed a theme called “Building a Cohesive America” where no American has to live in apprehension, discomfort or fear of the other.

The book, Americans Together, is schedule to be released this summer, and there will be a film on the same theme. Here is a ten minutes clip to present some of our issues and the need for us to come together.

FUTURE OF SIN AND SOCIETY

Like everything in life, the words take on different meanings, either they get narrower or broader.  Ever since man started “believing” in God and religion as a way of life, the word Sin has meant disobedience to God.

But now, with people seeing religion from a bird’s eye, the word Sin will also reflect that view.  In the future, Sin would not mean, disobedience to God, but non-consensual encroachment into others freedom, compelling others to follow you, and messing with the God given uniqueness of each one of us.

What are your thoughts?

Mike Ghouse
