Shouldn't Bush support Romney as Clinton does for Obama?

It was good to see President Clinton bat for Obama; he puts things in perspective for people to see clearly what is happening. He has turned things around for Obama in the convention, and is doing that now hitting Sunday morning political shows.

On the other hand, either Romney or the mainstream Republican Party is keeping former President Bush at bay, what a shame!

They did not even want to see President Bush Jr., or senior in the convention, of course President Bush pre-empted them by saying he can’t make it, even before a possible ask.

Romney has a whole lot of Bush men working with him, including Rove. The Democrats will hit him hard as the time gets closer, “Governor Romney, were you embarrassed about your former Republican President?”  Did you realize that the men and women surrounding you are the same group of embarassers?

Most moderate Republicans were banking on Romney’s moderation, including me, but Romney slipped, he assumed the only way to get elected was to turn to the right, who did have a good record of turning around in 2010, gaining a majority in the house.

What Romney failed to see was, as he has failed to see so many other things, that the Republicans dumped radicals like Santorum, Cain, Gingrich, Bachman and their likes, none of them fit in the common good criteria.  If Romney was any smart, he would not follow the path of those who were rejected. He can still dump them, but that would be too much flip flop.  The man does not have the balls to stand his own ground, or his own principles.

LIMBAUGH'S DOLLAR BASED APOLOGY

This is a great example of turning the tables on the idiom, “evil persists because good men do nothing about it.” Indeed, evil stops, if good people do something about it.
When he saw advertisers were pulling out, and most probably the broadcasters told him, Rush, with the advertisers gone, you will be gone too. Remember Beck?

Flip Flop Gingrich

That's the story of his life.
He is not sure which way to go, he attacks and if does not produce results, he retracts and claims to go positive.. how long? A few days.

I have written him off, he is not worth considering representing America. However, I might add notes here in this thread

. . . . .
Combative Gingrich

WISHY WASHY NEWT- ATTACKS WILL BOOMERANG

WISHY WASHY NEWT- ATTACKS WILL BOOMERANG
Newt is a dilly dally man, he is not sure of himself and attempts things and backs off…conservatives don’t do that. They are firm footed.

ABC News, “RENO, NV -- Newt Gingrich seized Wednesday on a Mitt Romney gaffe about poor people, suggesting that the former Massachusetts governor had acted divisively by saying he's "not concerned about poor people.” http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/02/01/10292620-gingrich-takes-aim-at-romneys-remark-about-poor

He tried his anger route, someone filled his ears that will work. Someone else told him to hold it off, he did, he was not sure. Attack Mitt! Then he was not sure if it worked either.

Newt is completely worked up; he is not sure what approach he should take. Attack, restrains, anger… promise everything; “within two hours of the taking the oath, I will repeal this bill – painting a fake reality image to the gullible.” Or at the end of my Second term, I will hang the moon for you”

John King, tear Gingrich down.

John King of CNN asked (it was asked) Newt, if he would like to share his thoughts on what his ex-wife Marianne Gingrich had to say.

Instead of answering the question, Newt attacks the press belligerently and gets away with it and John King backs down. Damn his gutlessness and irresponsibility. Newt was billing himself as a conservative candidate, in wake of the flip flops and seeking an open marriage. None of them are conservative positions.

John King should have pursued it, the role of a Journalist is to get the candidates to speak and tell the truth to the Americans. In light of the swindled crowd who were applauding the man instead of demanding the truth, Gingrich fails to qualify as a conservative candidate.

John tear Mr. Gingrich down, its time you do. Had you torn Bush down, we would not have gone to war, we would not have had sunk our monies in the wars, we would not have lost jobs; we would not have been in the economic ruin we are now. Our Journalists failed miserably then, but now don’t let America go down with bullying men link Gingrich. Bullying is not conservatism.

He owes an apology to American women for discounting the testimony of another woman, he owes an apology to the African Americans for thinking that they don’t want to work, damn it, there is no work and you cannot call them to live on food stamps. Can we allow him these flip flops? We should allow him the chance to repent but not give him the chance to mess up America.

What's wrong with Gingrich Republicans?

They are too eager to have a Republican and are blinded completely.

They are too willing to compromise their own conservative principles to find fault with the media, rather than Gingrich on wanting his wife to have an open marriage.  It is sickening to see those few who clapped for not trusting the testimony of the woman.

Gingrich trashes the media and they applause.

These were the same category of men and women,
who did not trust the testimony of the women who nailed Cain.

John King was a dud, he easily gave up a follow up question.
Wasn't it the same attitudes that brought us Bush wars and destruction of our nation?

Newt needs Crutches

Has Newt ever  been his own man?

He desperately needs Reagan for security, every sentence he delivers, begins with Reagan, he ain’t no Reagan no matter how many times he recites the name Reagan.
A kid was told in the class about the benefits of memorizing things in life, he was told that if you repeat whatever you want enough times, it will become yours. So the kid’s starts reciting Mary, Mary, Mary, and Mary, hoping Mary would become his’. Was that Kid Gingrich? Did someone tell him to recite Reagan, Reagan, and Reagan…
Now he thinks reciting and invoking Sarah Palin's name will get him somewhere. If that were the case, she would have run herself. She is no material to be VP, do Americans want her?
Unless he believes that we are one nation under God with liberty and justice to all and not denigrate poor and jobless, unless he sticks to one item and not keep saying he was wrong, then he needs to be considered.
Has Newt ever been his own man?

ROMNEY QUOTED QURAAN LAST NIGHT

Exactly one hour into debate, Romney said, " wherever you find the enemies, you find and kill them." I tweeted to Bret Baier, but he was flooded with the information.  We covered that extensively in the Quraan Conference? Quraan means exactly what Romney meant.

SOUTH CAROLINA DEBATE

Romney could have nailed Gingrich, when Gingrich suggested Romney to tell his super Pac to cut the ads, Romney went through a series of questions – and Gingrich said it was illegal to tell the pacs… then Romney should have asked – are you telling me to do the illegal thing? Instead the gentleman suggested you and I are in the same boat – If Gingrich was on the other side, he would have buried Romney. You should have seen the relief on Gingrich’s face for not getting slaughtered. Gingrich was vulnerable and Romney either missed it or he was too much of a gentleman.

Romney is still ahead. He sticks to the topic and does not jump to deliver cheap applause lines like Gingrich.

Gingrich delivers applause lines, no substance. Audiences are conditioned to boo or clap – and not to think.  Gingrich demeans the unemployed that they can find a job – where are jobs?

Paul always makes sense; he could be forceful and gain the support.

Santorum was good, but like Gingrich, he demeaning the people who don’t have a job, as if they are lazy or dumb.

Perry- was good in a few instances, but an embarrassment, get the hell out of the race man.

An hour into the conversation – Both Gingrich and Romney were saying; wherever you find the enemies find and kill them. Interesting dialogue!

SUPER PACS ARE A BANE ON POLITICS

Super pacs are an anathema to democracy and our way of life. A few with money can buy their influence with sound bites and mis-information. Your single vote will not mean anything anymore; many of us will be deprived of listening to the candidates first hand and making your own decisions.

We have committed blunders upon blunders in ruining our economy, banking and politics through deregulations. There is no accountability to the public or public funds; we need to regulate all those acts that affect the public severely like Banking, financing, mortgage and Super Pac’s. We need to banish this evil.
Until we see Obama Super Pac’s rip Romney apart, we will not realize the evil of this monster.  Who are the losers? Of course, it is the American public.  Obviously, it is the Radio and Television media who has everything to gain with the bumper income.

Because of the lawlessness of deregulation, we are losing some great candidates out there who may have personal flaws but could be the best governors and president. They don’t want to be in the fray and spend the time in defending their personal lives rather than working for the country.

As a nation we need to seriously think about qualifying the candidates and relaxing the inquisition to allow great candidates to run our nation.

The rich need to realize that they will not make the money if the consumers aren’t there to spend.

NEWT THE LOSER - YOU AIN'T REAGAN

NEWT THE LOSER - YOU AIN'T REAGAN

Why would anyone want to elect you who cheated on his wives in hospital?
Why would anyone want to man who is not himself, but lives on Reagan Name?
Why would anyone want to elect a man who was dumped for ethics violations?

ROMNEY LOST TO OBAMA BECAUSE

My fellow Republicans like you had f'd up the country
Because Bush had destroyed America, and
Because Obama gave hope to a nation desperately needing it

IF YOU GET THE NOMINATION
OBAMA IS GUARANTEED TO WIN...
YOUR ARE A BIGOT MR. GINGRICH

Look up in the mirror and just read the excuses and apologies you have made in just a few weeks. You owe an apology to a lot of fellow Americans... Until you regret and repent and confess... You don’t have place in governance.

Go home and rip Freddic Mac or Join me in building a cohesive America where no American has to live in discomfort or fear of the other... then you should win the presidency. We need leaders who care about every American.

PERRY GET THE HELL OUT OF SOUTH CAROLINA

114 Evangelicals met in Texas and gave 85 Votes to Santorum, 24 to Gingrich and a shameful 5 for Perry. The were all anti-Americans and anti-Republican who believed Merit does not matter, but faith does. They don't care about the separation of Church and State.
Perry must get the hell out of there before South Carolina dangles a mere 5% for courtesy.

Evangelical leaders ganged up on Romney

IOWA REPUBLICAN CAUCUS NOTES

Romney and Paul are relatively a safe bet against Obama; most certainly Ron Paul will be a bigger challenge to Obama than Romney. Rick Santorum earned 5 more votes than Romney in the final tally in the Iowa Caucus. Santorum will not make it, he is a right winger shamelessly wearing a conservative badge, he will take our nation to the brink of disaster thorugh war mongering mind set.

Michelle Bachman is an embarrassment, she does not see the writing on the wall, and at least Rick Perry has seen it. Gingrich will be an embarrassment to our nation; he acts as though he will not be caught by saying one thing to you and the other to me even here in Iowa he goofed up.

I hope Bachman, Perry, Gingrich and Huntsman will drop out of the race so we can hear more vigorous debates from Romney and Paul. We need candidates who are inclusive and good for America, every one of the inhabitants of America. We are one nation under God with liberty and Justice for all.

Latest:
Glad things changed from early announcements to this "Mitt Romney eked out a minuscule 8-vote victory over Rick Santorum in Iowa's Republican presidential caucuses on Tuesday night, bringing down the curtain on an improbable first act in the campaign to pick a challenger to President Barack Obama for next fall. Republican desperation for candidates

POLLS: GINGRICH & ROMNEY ACCEPTABLE GOP CANDIDATES

The integrity of Gingrich is questionable but the Republicans are desperate to have anything that speaks. That is a big compromise to the tea parties, it shows that tea party's influence is very limited despite the loud mouthing. Obama has a chance to make it, if he has the balls to push the Jobs bill and do the right thing for the nation, leave a legacy before he goes anyway, rather than go down in history as good for nothing president.
Sixty-two percent called Gingrich an "acceptable" GOP nominee, while 54 percent called Romney "acceptable." (Thirty-four percent called Gingrich unacceptable, and 41 percent said the same of Romney.) While those figures are higher than any of the other Republican presidential candidates, it's worth noting that less than two-thirds sees either man as an acceptable nominee.

Gingrich, Next Exit?

WHO IS THE NEXT MERCURIAL CANDIDATE? GINGRICH?

I am with Sean Hannity on one thing...do not support any Republican candidates until we find out all about them. Every one's temperature rises to fall. Newt may take the next exit after Cain with this devasting SERIAL HYPOCRACY Video by Ron Paul.

Mr. Cain, get off the train and go hide some place before you embarass the party more. What is the point?
