Bob Scheiffer on Dick Cheney's shadow government

Bob Schieffer called a spade a spade.
In reference to the role of VP Biden, he said he is a good VP and added that  Dick Cheney had set up a shadowy government within the white house and ran like an independent contractor - it's at the beginning of the video

Religious topography in the United States

This is an incredible map produced by USA today, it gives the percentages of population by faith in each state as you move the cursor over the state.

When they draw the cartoons of the Prophet, when they burn the Quraan… Muslims can do what the Prophet had done; pray for their well being.

We can aggravate the conflicts by violently protesting it, or mitigating the conflicts and nurturing goodwill by following the examples of the prophet, the mercy to mankind.
If we do that, the miscreant will have no incentive to piss off Muslims, but if we fall prey to their bait, we lose, not only lose, but really not follow the prophet, the peace maker.

The following is a beautiful story for Muslims to consider emulating…

Iran’s Ahl al-Bait Assembly slams Wahabbi fatwa to destroy churches. As a Muslim I condemn this Fatwa without reserve, here are the reasons:

Evil persists if good men do nothing about it, the least we can do is to speak up. This fatwa goes against God’s will and Prophet’s charter.

Do you visit Public Library

Mike Ghouse of Farmers Branch:

I do visit public library at least twice a week; indeed, I have spent a life time visiting and reading books. Back in India, the public library was open 365 days a year and as a student I loved being there in all my spare time. Most of my writing occurs in the in two or three peaceful hours at the library, including this note.
Dallas Morning News' question: Do you visit your public library regularly? Why or why not? If so, how often and what section of the library do you use most?
The responses will be published each Friday in the Carrollton/Farmers Branch/Addison neighborsgo section. Deadline: Your response is due before 9 a.m. on Monday to be considered for publication on Friday inside neighborsgo.

Zuhdi Jasser and Robert George Do Not Belong on the USCIRF

Asking Zuhdi to be commissioner of human rights is like asking the fox to guard the hen.
He has no respect for American Civil laws, and indeed he praised NYPD for violating the civil liberties.
Should we allow men like him to chip away the very liberties that makes this nation great.

Watching Anderson Cooper interviewing Black Panthers about Trayvon’s murder… Anderson is a good interviewer…. Serious direct and committed to get the point out…Rev. Mikhail Muhammad was accusing and calling the names on America… I value this freedom we have. We don’t have to agree with any one, but allowing one to speak his point of view, however ridiculous it is, makes our nation a great nation. I am proud of my nation.

This is a great example of turning the tables on the idiom, “evil persists because good men do nothing about it.” Indeed, evil stops, if good people do something about it.
When he saw advertisers were pulling out, and most probably the broadcasters told him, Rush, with the advertisers gone, you will be gone too. Remember Beck?

Fox may offer a job to Judge Richard Cebull

Guess what will happen next? The radicals in my party, the GOP, will place Judge Richard Cebull on a Pedestal or Fox will hire him to be a consultant, so the man can remain alive with his rhetoric and do the jokes in the circles. Just kidding, but that is what my party is reduced to ; pick the losers.

Judge Richard Cebull apologizes to Obama
