Goofy right wingers

Either the right wingers are smart in propping “terrorism experts” and cashing in or they are duped by the likes of David Harowitz, Robert Spencer, and Brigitte Gabrielle on the one hand and former Muslims like Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Walid Shoebet, Wafa Sultan, and Nonie Darwish on the other.  It is all about money!

The test is simple; look at their websites and articles, they frighten the crap out of you, and then ask for Money and donations and you feel obligated to write the check.  How long can they continue to do that?

The people on the other hand should not give money to any of them, they are aggravating and causing more problems with their rhetoric, so they can come for more money. Give the money to organizations that are mitigating conflicts and give you much better value for your investment in peace.

TERROR HITS INDIA AGAIN

Mumbai, July 13, 2011. Three serial blasts have hit three different parts of Mumbai, killing 8 and injuring several.
When tragedy hits, we need to come together and focus on finding the fountain head for such evil acts and remove the cancerous cell and hold on to the temptations to blame anyone else. Blaming will do further damage to the society in times like this. This would be patriotic thing to do; to preserve life and safety of citizens.
If you committed a crime, let's haul your ass to jail and bring justice for the crimes against the public. Your parents, siblings, spouse, neighborhood, community, religion or state has nothing to do with your evilness. If we want justice and peace, get the bad guys and not mess with good people.
Let no Indian look at the other with suspicion, out of a 1.2 billion people a dozen are responsible for this cowardice, we need to get them and get their fountain head. That is the right thing to do... one mishap should not tear India further apart. Hold on to the temptations to blame and you will serve your motherland right.

This is the time for us to come together.
As an American Indian Muslim I condemn this acts of terrorism.

Jai Hind

Are Republican Presidential Candidates Peace Makers?

I don’t think so, listen to them, nothing but divisiveness and hate pops out of them. Is that all they are made of?

Unfortunately the Good or good-for-nothing Republicans are letting themselves run over by the radicals among them.  Out of frustration with the Republican nominees in 2008 I rallied and voted for Obama. Had McCain been in, we would have been ruined with his bombing Iran, and other adventures and spreading our military everywhere demoralizing our men and women from unjust wars. Thank God, we the people dumped them in 2008 and saved America from further disaster.

Obama’s deficit is shameful, but a saving grace from what Republicans would have done.

I would rather have a job to take care of my family than relish bombing Iran.  President Bush has to answer for destroying their lives and lives of innocent Iraqis. We don’t need warring men out to run our country.

There are good Republicans out there, but where? All I can hope is for a miracle; a Republican who is not destructive but productive to our nation. We have to find a Republican candidate who believes in the pledge of allegiance to the core and believes in dialogue rather than destruction for solutions. We need to monitor their language more than ever and dump everyone who is a war monger, divisive and hateful towards fellow Americans.

My loyalty is to my nation and my loyalty to my party is not blind and ruinous. I am a Republican.

Religion in Public Space

Either all religions should have access to public space and build a cooperative pluralistic environment or no one should utlize public square to brand it with their religion. When the majorities within each religion bully their minorities, then we need to keep religion where it belongs; in our hearts instead of becoming a commodity for sale by politicians.

RICK PERRY FOR PRESIDENT?

If he is sincere in representing Americans he needs to demonstrate it by inviting them all to his prayer fest. Americans see God as one, none and many and in every form; male, female, genderless and non-existent, being and non-being, nameless and with innumerable names. He has an opportunity to win public opinion if he chooses to go the middle path representing the majority of Americans.
This note is to appear in Dallas Morning News this Sunday July 10 in sounding off segment.
I do expect the Radicals among us to focus on pitting one American against the other, would that work this time? I hope not, I expect the American Public demand them to tell precisely how they'll turn the economy around, find jobs and restore the well being of the families. We cannot let them get away with weakening America with their war rhetoric and jumping to fight with every one in the world. Hell no to that.

Mitt Romney, Huntsman, Mormonism and Elections 2012

All that Romney and Huntsman have to do is to understand the depth and meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance and show this understanding to Americans in their words and actions to earn their vote. Americans are willing to reward those who are inclusive and dump those who pit one American against the other for political gains.

SHARIA LAWS, NOT IN AMERICA

The intent of the Sharia laws was to construct a complete justice system with fairness to all members of society. Peace and a sense of security are the products of justice in a given society. The violations of justice and the rule of law are found in every faith, culture and political system, to varying degrees. In this respect no community is free of blame and no one can cast the first stone against another community.

American Muslims have placed their trust in the American justice system and will continue to oppose Sharia laws as they are currently applied in many places across the globe. I will be one of the first ones, if not the first one, to stand up against it. The Muslim majority in America is happy with the American system and does not want to have Sharia law here in America.

Hamas must be factored in peace talks

Talking with Beck, Hannity and OReilly does not produce peace for the people of Israel, it will aggravate it, but ensures them the short sighted audience numbers and enhanced ratings, that is really their bottom line. People of Israel and Palestine want peace, these guys are the hindrance.

The bottom line for the lobbies, and the right wing Christians and Jews is "sucking" money from the frightened ones and NOT the security of Israel, continuance of conflict ensure them their rewards and they have done it for over 50 years and it it in their interest to blame and accuse others instead of finding solutions.

The bull headed rightwingers lack sheer common sense, they expect to have peace in Israel without talking to the parties in conflict. If you want to have peace with the "enemies" then you talk with them.

If the same guys focus on mitigating conflicts and nurturing goodwill, they can achieve peace, they are passionate people with passion misapplied.

Hate mails on Obama speech

HATE MAIL ON OBAMA'S SPEECH
My appearance on Hannity show and support for Obama's proposal last night has produced a few pieces of hate mail from the rightwing Christians, Hindus, Jews and Muslims alike and a full blown article on me.

The Israelis and the Palestinians want peace but the right wingers among them and the US have been a hindrance.

These guys want the conflicts to continue so they can cash in on it. If there is peace, the lobbies lose donations and many a organizations will go out of hate business. Fox will not have the material anymore.

I pray that these men and women put in their time and energy in creating peace and join Obama, let their passion be put in for god purpose, so the people of Israel can hope for a secure life and Palestinians can live with hopes.

Obama should stick out, when they have peace we can save $5 billion a year in aid and take care of our own here in America.  We pay them and we have a right to ask them to do the right thing and make peace, this is time.

Muslims rejoice the end of an evil era

Muslims sigh with relief, pray and celebrate, they were not only victims of Bin Laden’s terrorism, but were also the subject of harassment by several governments around the world and in the Airports as well.
Muslims sigh relief and rejoice the end of an evil man Laden
May 01, 2011, Dallas, Texas:- Mike Ghouse, President of the World Muslims Congress was delighted to announce the end of an evil man and prays that an evil era ends with him. It brings a sense of justice and relief to nearly 3000 fellow Americans.  He whole heartedly concurs with President Obama’s statement, “Bin Laden was not a Muslim leader; he was a mass murderer of Muslims.  Indeed, al Qaeda has slaughtered scores of Muslims in many countries, including our own.  So his demise should be welcomed by all who believe in peace and human dignity.” Indeed, we welcome it.
Indeed Muslims were not only victims of his terrorism, but were also subject of harassment by several governments around the world in Airports as well as employment and ordinary life acts. The Sikh community also became a target of the mistaken identity. With his death, we hope the oppression of women in Afghanistan also comes to an end.

Mike recalls Tuesday, September 11, 2001, “On that tragic day, I was called in to manage the emergency situation on Radio station AM 1150 and handle the crisis. My
first goal was to make sense out of the chaotic incoherence of the day and move forward purposefully. I was on the air from 10:00 AM through 5:00 PM on AM Radio 1150 and 950 simulcasted at times.”
Bin Ladens death brings a closure to the reign of terror that began September 11, 2001 and we plan on a big celebration this year all over the nation.

Interfaith experiment; standing in others shoes

Given the growing apprehensiveness through politicizing religion, it makes a lot of sense for one to step in other’s shoes and experience the wisdom of every beautiful religion first hand, rather than live in phobias generated by hearsay.

Finding the truth is our own responsibility, as truth relieves one’s anxieties. The
Quraan Conference took the wind out of the sails of the misrepresented verses like “Kill the infidels”, “beat your wife” or  “Don’t make friends with Jews or Christians”, mind you the verses were read in public by the clergy of different religions and not Muslims.

The following experiment was conducted at the Unity Day USA event.

Thirty Nine (39) Individuals were called in from the audience to form thirteen (13) groups of four (4) each. The groups were given a statement, verse or the wisdom (atheism) of each faith they represented randomly. No person was assigned his or her own religion but religions were assigned by a drawing. Every group was asked to read and share their understanding of that religion, the idea was to stand in others shoes, and it was one of the most successful experiments in religion.

Each one of the participant loved being a Jew, Zoroastrian, a Hindu, a Christian, Muslim or the other. When we read the book for real and not go by hearsay, our hearts and minds will open up to the wisdom of every religion, thus learning about each other first hand mitigates the conflicts and paves the way for solutions.

Naming a Political Satire

The amount of stupidity displayed by the politicians is amazing; either they are  idiots, nincompoops, dumbos, morons or downright stupid. They are every where; usually the right wingers make an ass of themselves and the media rightfully highlights the extremes, so we can manage the old fashion way; management by exception.

I am creating a fun website to list statements and comments made by Politicians from across the world, but preferably here in America.  What is ironic is their refusal to see or at least hear another point of view

Dictionary: An idiot  is an Adult stupid person with a mental age below three years, while a moron  is also an Adult stupid person with a mental age of between seven to twelve years. Stupid refers to lack of ability while ignorant refers to lack of knowledge

What name would you Vote in for a website?

Stupid Politicians
Moron Politicians
Idiot Politicians
Dumb Politicians
Nincompoop Politicians

So I ask you to suggest the name for the website to assemble all political stupidities in one single place that you can be a contributor.

Name the Site you would prefer to describe them
Share a link with the title to line up posting on the website
If you know sites that already do this, share it too.

A Carrollton tradition
By Mike Ghouse, Pluralist
# # #

Dear Friends,
The following is an inclusive prayer called the prayer of Pluralism, indeed, Carrollton is only City in the United States where inclusiveness is appreciated and this is the 9th time in the last four years. We are committed to building a cohesive Carrollton.

Let’s reflect, wish and pray:

Creator of the universe
Please accept our gratitude in every name we call upon you; Manito,  Yahweh, Elahi, Ishwar, Allah, Mahavira, Buddha, Wahe Guru, Ahura Mazda, mother earth and Jesus Christ.

In your name we want to create a cohesive Carrollton, with care kindness and dignity to every one of the 122,000 residents of this beautiful City.

Dear God,
Guide our Mayor and the council to serve us with integrity and honesty;
Guide us to serve our communities with the spirit of volunteerism;
Guide us to do the right thing every moment of our life;
Guide us to open our hearts and minds toward our fellow beings;
Guide us to shed the arrogance in us, and enrich us with humility
Guide us to become conflict mitigaters and goodwill nurturers.

Dear God, Protect our men and women in uniforms committed to our safety and well being.
Help us learn to respect the uniqueness you have blessed to each one of the 122,000 of us in Carrollton,
And help us learn to respect everywhich way one worships you.
In your name, we bow to you.
Amen.

First Amendment, the secular and religious organizations

Religious Organizations must be held to the same standards as the secular organizations in terms of employment and accountability to the public. They must be subjected to audit of the policies as well, then the questions of exceptions will dwindle and a sense of clarity will emerge. We have to rise above our own petty agendas for the overall good of America and formulate policies that treat every one justly.

The employment situation with religious organizations does bring up issues in selection of the candidates; almost all the religious and secular organizations circumvent it by narrowing the criteria. In the coming years that may be tested out if the unemployment rates become unmanageable. What happens to equal opportunity employment laws, where does it stop?

John Esposito is one of the most respected scholars on Islam in America, he is a devout Catholic, and he must have an equal opportunity to run Islamic organizations, should he not? Should I not be hired to work in a Jewish organization?

The world has indeed become a global community. Everyone is a neighbor to everyone else; we aspire to nurture the concept of good neighborliness in the world. The advisory board for World Muslim Congress will be represented by individuals from every faith. It is time for us to be equal citizens of one world; our home. This is a major paradigm shift in how the religious organizations would be conducting their business in the coming years.
